The (608) Crate Story
We are Claudine & Kristi, two Wisconsin women who enjoy community and supporting locally owned small businesses and artisans. Due to the hardships created by the 2020 pandemic, we wanted to find a way to support them on a larger scale. We reached out to a friend to design a vintage crate, and then we started talking to small business owners about partnering with us to feature their products in our crates. Everyone said YES!
Our store features products sourced from small businesses in the 608 region. We have personally collaborated with each vendor to curate themed crates for purchase. We include information about each vendor with every purchase, so you can check out their store in the future.
We also chat with each business owner to discover the story behind the business and learn more about the owner, and these conversations are featured weekly on our Explore The Great 608 Podcast.
